Compensation: Dependent upon experience

Employment Type: Full Time

Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:

  • 3 + years of experience performing administrative duties.
  • Expert level knowledge of MS Excel (preparation and maintenance of complex spreadsheets).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (expert in Excel) as well as Google Docs and Sheets.
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed work and follow instructions.
  • Strong proofreading and grammar skills.
  • Experience with preparing and reconciling detailed expense reports.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide administrative support to the President, Director of Operations, CFO and operations staff.
  • Provide support to in-field Technicians, during and after normal business hours.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports, typing, filing, scanning and other duties as assigned.
  • Monitor project tracking spreadsheet to ensure project results conform to quality, time, and budgetary stipulations.
  • Track projects, deliverables and documentation and make recommendations, as necessary.
  • Maintain an appropriate relationship with customers and vendors.
  • Ensure all project status reports are obtained along with other required project close out documentation.
  • Review technician time and expense reports for accuracy and agreement with Project Tracker.
  • Maintain vehicle and key log.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $15 - $27 per/hour

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Good communication, organizational skills and time management skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • Must be able to travel out of state weekly and work a flexible schedule
  • Able to pass a full Background check and MVR search

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have:

  • Structured cabling experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings and specifications
  • General construction knowledge including knowledge of framing
  • Knowledge of fiber and basic knowledge of terminating Cat 5/6 cables
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skill and be able to provide written updates on progress

Basic Knowledge of IT skills is preferred:

  • Candidates should have some background/general knowledge of troubleshooting, phone lines, phone boards, and analog phone systems
  • Should have basic knowledge of POS installation as well as basic knowledge of VOIP and 66/110 Block

  • Knowledge of or experience with 66/110 Block and VOIP
  • Ability manage multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to provide written updates on progress

Basic knowledge of structured cabling skills is preferred:

  • Candidates should be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Should have basic knowledge of fiber and some general construction knowledge
